Happy Valentine's Day from Craft Corner and me, Miss Barb!

This Valentine's Day is a special one here at Reading Time. Whenever we've had the opportunity to celebrate this day of love, we've focused on many different types of love! Whether it is mushy-gushy love, love between friends, or love for yourself, it is all important. Part of our mission is to help you love yourself and others, of course!

This month's program is about families, specifically the kind of family that we choose. But whether your family is created by birth, by marriage, or is fatefully woven, this craft will certainly be an homage to the people that come first.

Supply List 

🖼️ Frame kit from Oriental Trading Co (comes in a 12 pack)

🖼️ A photo of your family

🖼️ Cardstock (for a backing mat if needed)

🖼️ Craft glue

🖼️ Glue stick

🖼️ Scissors

Step 1:

Attach heart stickers to the frame. Attach the family sticker (downloaded separately) if wanted.

Step 2:

Attach the cardstock sheet with craft glue to the back of the frame.

Step 3:

Attach a photo of your choice to the middle of the backing sheet with glue stick.

That’s it! Display your Family Frame where you choose! I inserted a photo of Mr. Zae and I from our Love-Birds program a few years back. We have a fun time whenever he visits Craft Corner. Mr. Zae and I love to share our enjoyment of crafting. He also helps me out with things I need from time to time. Even though we aren't related in the traditional sense, I think of Mr. Zae as part of my chosen family. I'll be glad to see our picture anytime I pass by this frame.

Don't forget to attend Reading Time so you can make one of your own! We will even have a little device there to take and print your photo at the program on Saturday, February 14th. IDAHO FALLS:

We will be at The Heart Event Center, 751 S Capital Ave, starting at 10:30am.

POCATELLO:

We will be at Discovery Dance School, 310 E Clark St, starting at 1:30pm.

The space is ADA compliant. You may park in the parking lot either in front of or behind the studio.
