This craft answers the fundamental question that has baffled scholars for decades: "What would it look like if one of the animate letters from Sesame Street got in drag?"
Wonder no further. After extensive research, our Craft Corner experts have concluded the following...
They look however you want them to look! That's the power of drag!
We are celebrating drag kings this month. Since the word KING starts with the letter K, we decided to let you dress up your own K!
We've done crafts like this before, like our Sew Fun Paper Dolls. Like that craft, you'll find that there are many different ways to express yourself. We've tried our best to give you as many options as we could to aid you on your letter "K" drag journey.
(We do need to give credit where credit is due: we got this craft idea from Non-Toy Gifts. However, our version needed some more options. The template we link for free is a compilation of free images on Canva.)

SUPPLY LIST
👑 K Is for King craft template
👑 Cardstock paper
👑 Colored printer paper
👑 Scissors
👑 Gluestick
(Note: We have access to a Cricut machine, which resulted in a much easier time cutting out the components. If you attend our Uhh... All Drag Kings! program this Saturday, we will have these pieces pre-cut for you.)
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Print the K on cardstock paper. This will provide a sturdy base.
Step 2: Print the crowns, eyes, mustache, nose, mouth, and other accessories on various pieces of colored printer paper. This thinner paper will be easier to cut. You can also print these components on regular printer paper and color them in.

Step 3: Glue the components and accessories to the K. You can do so in whatever arrangement you want. You can use as many or as little pieces as you prefer. That's the fun of drag: you get to decide!

Here is our finished K! This is just one way you can put it together. If you make this craft and want to share your creation, please send it to us at info@readingtimewiththequeens.com
We hope you will join us for making this craft in person on April 12th! Please note the change in venue for our Idaho Falls programs.
